Bessie Cheros Junior Music Club Scholarships
Nine awards for the youngest musicians are available through the Bessie Cheros Scholarships--1st & 2nd Place, plus Honorable Mention for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. (Sponsored by Crescent Music Club.)
Mary Jane Steele Piano Scholarships
The Mary Jane Steele Scholarships offer six awards for middle school musicians--1st & 2nd Place, plus Honorable Mention for 6th and 7th graders. (Given by the Steele family and partially sponsored by Crescent Music Club.)
Hinda Honigman Piano Scholarships
Open to 8th & 9th graders, the Hinda Honigman Scholarships offer 1st & 2nd Place awards, plus two Honorable Mention awards. (Endowed by Mrs. Ralph Sarlin and sponsored in part by Crescent Music Club.)
Ruth Young Piano Scholarship
The Ruth Young Scholarship awards 1st & 2nd Place prizes for students in grades 10 & 11. (Endowed and sponsored by Crescent Music Club.)
Ernestine Phillips Smith Piano Scholarship
One large award for a high school senior who intends to continue piano study at the college level. (Endowed by the Smith family and partially sponsored by Crescent Music Club.)
Shirley Sarlin Piano Scholarship
One large award for a high school senior who plans to major in music at the college level. (Endowed by the Shirley & Ralph Sarlin Charitable Trust.)
Robert Jones Piano Duet Scholarship
1st & 2nd Place awards for piano duos in grades 6 through 12. (Sponsored by Robert Jones and Crescent Music Club.)
Scholarships for Singers
Zelphia P. Drake Voice Scholarships
1st & 2nd Place and Honorable Mention awards for singers in grades 9 through 11. (Endowed by Zelphia P. Drake and sponsored in part by Crescent Music Club.)
James Farrell Farnsworth Voice Scholarship
One large award for a singer in grade 12. (Endowed by the Farnsworth family and sponsored in part by Crescent Music Club.) Recipient must continue to study voice at the college level.
CMC Musical Theatre Voice Scholarship
One award for a singer in grades 9 through 12. (Sponsored by Crescent Music Club.)
Scholarship for Organists
Shirley Kroske Reinsmith Organ Scholarships
One large award for an organist in grades 8 through 12. (Endowed by Mrs. Shirley Kroske Reinsmith and sponsored in part by Crescent Music Club.) Applicants must be committed to further organ study at the college level, at a summer festival, or with a qualified teacher.

CMC Orchestral Scholarships
Two large awards--one for strings and one for brass wind, or percussion--available for instrumentalists in grades 9 through 12. (Endowed and sponsored by Crescent Music Club.) Applicants must be committed to further study at the college level, at a summer festival, or with a qualified teacher.
